Nike Air Max 1 '86 Original 'Big Bubble' Lookbook

Nike is celebrating Air Max Month and Air Max Day with a bang this year with the official re-release of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 Original in a ‘Big Bubble’ iteration. Releasing in men’s and women’s sizing, the heritage sneaker arrives in its debut colorway of the original running sneaker icon. This retro release utilizes an upper built from a blend of breathable mesh, synthetic suede overlays, and contrasting notes of University Red that can be found on the mudguard and signature Swoosh. Additional accents are at the molded eyelets and Nike Air branding at the tongue and heel overlays. The exposed Air-sole unit is nestled in the heel, while the polyurethane midsole and rubber outsole underneath protect the rest of the look.
